Dialogue Through Art
My practice explores the tension between perceived reality and surreal transformation. Realistic portraiture functions as both subject and analytical tool. The body becomes a site for examining personal pain, identity, and psychic fragmentation, while symbolic and mystical elements introduce layers of psychoanalytic resonance. By juxtaposing technical discipline with irrational or dreamlike interventions, the work investigates the tension between conscious control and unconscious impulse.
Exhibiting internationally has extended this inquiry beyond the studio into intercultural dialogue. Presenting my work in diverse contexts has revealed how autobiographical and psychological imagery can generate broader collective interpretations. Encounters with artists in India and Egypt have further informed my understanding of global art practices, particularly the resilience and determination that sustain creative production across differing social and cultural conditions.Through this synthesis of realism and psychological symbolism, my work aims to position individual experience within a wider transnational and theoretical framework.
