The objective of my study is to examine image and memory. Especially so in the relation to "Das Unbewußte"

About
I am an Austrian artist and writer based in Barcelona. My background in Modern Languages, Humanities, and Literature shapes how I approach my work, which moves between painting, video, and text. I am drawn to the intersections of philosophy, psychoanalysis, and poetry, and I use these as ways to think about the structures of memory, identity, and intimacy.
In the studio, I work mainly with acrylic on linen, ink on paper, and experimental video. I am interested in creating images and moments that feel suspended — somewhere between the familiar and the uncanny. My work has traveled with me, finding its way into exhibitions in London, Cairo, Santander, Cochin, Barcelona, and Bolivia, and has also been shown at international film festivals, where some of my video pieces have received recognition.
Collaboration is also an important part of my practice. I have worked with filmmakers and cultural collectives, taking on roles such as Art Director on films and contributing to editorial and curatorial projects. These exchanges expand how I think about art and narrative beyond the canvas or screen.
At the moment, I continue to develop both painting and film projects while also working on my first novel — another way for me to explore how image, memory, and language meet.
